26th ANNUAL SERGG™ MEETING

Dear Exhibitor:

The Southeastern Regional Genetics Group, Inc. (SERGG, Inc.) will be holding its 26th Annual Meeting on July 31 – August 2, 2008, at the Francis Marion Hotel in Charleston, South Carolina.  Attendance is expected to be approximately 150-200 professionals who are directly involved in genetics either through a university-based facility or a public health department in Region 3 which includes Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Puerto Rico, South Carolina, Tennessee, and the Virgin Islands.  Guest speakers include:

  • Bryan D. Hall, MD, former Chief of Genetics and Dysmorphology, University of Kentucky, who will speak on “Recreating Pearls”.
  • Alan K. Percy, MD, Professor of Pediatrics, University of Alabama at Birmingham, who will speak on “The evolving phenotype and treatment of Rett syndrome”.
  • Roger E. Stevenson, MD, Director, Greenwood Genetics Center, who will speak on “History and new perspectives of X-linked mental retardation”.
  • Huntington F. Willard, PhD, Director, Institute for Genome Sciences and Policy, Duke University, who will speak on “Towards genomic medicine at the Duke Institute for Genome Sciences and Policy”.

Additional information about the conference will be posted on our website www.sergginc.org as it becomes available.

We invite you to participate in the SERGG meeting by displaying your products and literature and/or sponsoring a portion of the conference.  The exhibitor’s fee of $1,000 includes a skirted 6’ table with 2 chairs and promotional listing in the program as well as meeting registration for ONE representative.  We encourage you to consider conference sponsorship options that are also available.  Platinum, Gold, and Silver sponsors who wish to also exhibit will receive prime booth locations.

The exhibit area is close to the general and breakout session facilities and houses all break functions so your exhibit will be in a very accessible location and will be well-trafficked. You are responsible for security as specified in the agreement.
