ASK THE GENETICIST

"Ask the Geneticist", www.askthegen.org, is a collaborative effort of the Department of Human Genetics at Emory University and the Department of Genetics at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, is a resource for the public to answer quetions about genetic concepts, and the etiology, treatment, research, testing, and predisposition to genetic disorders.  Questions that meet these criteria are answered and posted to the site.  This site is also developing information on careers in genetics, genetic fact sheets, information about where to find genetic research studies, a roadmap to clinical genetic services, and links to genetic resources.
