A block rooms has been reserved at the Sawgrass Marriott Hotel in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida for Wednesday through Saturday, July 21-24, 2010, to accommodate our meeting.  You will need to guarantee your room reservation for any arrival after 4:00 p.m.  We have been given a group rate of $119.00 for a SINGLE or a DOUBLE guestroom.  One-bedroom suites are available at $194.00.  Please make your own room arrangements in order to keep your personal expenses at a minimum.  Check-in time is 4:00 p.m. and check-out is 11:00 am.  Attendees arriving before check-in time will be accommodated as rooms become available.  We have negotiated  free parking at the hotel.

The Sawgrass Marriott Hotel is located at 1000 PGA Tour Boulevard, Ponte Vedra Beach, FL  32082.  Located on Florida’s Atlantic coast between Jacksonville and historic St. Augustine, the Sawgrass Marriott is surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty and championship golf, including TPC Sawgrass’ famed THE PLAYERS Stadium Course.  The guest rooms offer luxurious amenities including high-speed internet and wide-screen plasma televisions.  Guests are provided free transportation to the Cabana Beach Club, a short distance from the hotel, where you can enjoy the rolling waves on 26 miles of pristine, uninterrupted golden sand beaches.  The hotel features 4 swimming pools and 2 pint-sized pools bordered by natural lagoons.  There are 11 nearby tennis courts, spa, and exercise facilities.  Other activities available include biking, jogging, fishing or strolling the nature trails. Of course shopping is nearby too!  This is a 100% non-smoking facility.

Please reserve your room IMMEDIATELY in order to assure accommodation.  After this date, the hotel will release the rooms for general sale. This hotel does not provide airport shuttle service. For alternate ground transportation you may call Carey Worldwide Chauffeured Services of Jacksonville at 1-800-829-7433.  Their fare rate is $43.00 one way with a 2 person minimum. Estimated taxi fare is $70.00.

T R A N S P O R A T I O N

If you are flying: The Sawgrass Marriott Hotel is located approximately 29 miles from Jacksonville International Airport (JAX) which is serviced by AirTran, American, Continental, Delta, JetBlue, Northwest, Southwest, United and US Airways.  Traveling from the airport, take Airport Road (SR-102) east for 1.4 miles.  Merge onto I-95 South via the ramp to Jacksonville. Stay on I-95 until you merge onto J. Turner Butler Blvd. (19.4 miles).  Merge onto J. Turner Butler Blvd (Exit 344)/SR-202 East for 7.5 miles.  Exit onto SR-A1A south toward Ponte Vedra/St. Augustine for 4 miles.  Turn right at PGA Tour Blvd.  Turn left to stay on PGA Tour Blvd. to hotel.
