Primary responsibilities include coordinating genetic testing, communication of results to requesting physicians, development of educational materials and IRB protocols, and representing the laboratory with a booth at major genetic meetings. The laboratory counselor will also have the opportunity to participate in patient care, as well as with the genetic counseling training program
