SYNDROMES ASSOCIATED WITH MULTIPLE CONGENITAL ANOMALIES

This 2-hour video includes 30 of the more common malformation syndromes within the categories of single gene, chromosomal, teratogens, associations, and sequences.  Each disorder is preceded by a Table of Features and each disorder is shown at different ages and often includes some verbal interaction.  The vast majority of the cases are within the hospital or clinic setting.  There is minimal use of slides.

DIAGNOSTIC APPROACH TO THE DYSMORPHIC PATIENT

This 2-hour video focuses on learning how to approach, categorize, and conceptualize the patient with multiple congenital anomalies (MCA).  Critical terminology is illustrated.  Patients are seen in hospital and clinic settings.  Emphasis is placed on prioritizing clinical features and weighing each feature's value in reaching a diagnosis.  An outline is included with time frames and detailed explanations of what each statement, definition and categorization means.

PEARLS OF DYSMORPHOLOGY

This 1 1/2-hour video which contains 87 individual features considered "pearls" or "semi-pearls" relative to their value in reaching or suspecting a specific diagnosis.  Many additional features are commented on as the formal "pearls" are presented.  There is an exercise at the end of the tape for helping viewers understand how dysmorphology pearls can be used to prioritize the diagnostic value of individual features.  The handout that accompanies this tape has a worksheet that helps make this exercise more fun and educational.
